I acknowledge and state that you: a) are not my/our legal adviser, as to Irish laws or foreign laws ; b) did not draw up the Document(s), and your only function is to authenticate the Document(s) and/or my/our signature(s) to the Document(s) ; c) told me/us that you do not read or write or understand the language in which the Document(s) is drawn up / partly drawn up ; d) told me/us that you are not competent in the laws of or to advise on any aspect of the country where the Document(s) will operate ; e) told me/us that all such important legal documents have potentially serious legal and financial consequences for persons signing them ; f) told me/us that it is important that I/we should have competent advice as to the legal financial and taxation implications of the transaction generally:
    5. a) I have read this Acknowledgement; b) You told me that I are free to get independent legal advice in relation to signing this Acknowledgement/Consent; c) I understand this Acknowledgement/Consent, which I acknowledge is drawn up in non-technical language, and I am happy to sign it in the form offered to me.
